Look Ahead: Chelsea v Man United

Chelsea look to put 15 points between them and Man United

We take a look ahead of this weekends big Premier League tie between Chelsea and Man United.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are currently twelve points clear of United and will be looking to extend that gap with a win.

The Champions League holders sit top of the table three points clear of Man City.

United’s caretaker manager Michael Carrick won his first game in charge against Villarreal in the Champions League.

How will his side stand-up against Chelsea in his managerial Premier League debut?

Manchester United as a club is currently chaotic said Ian Wright.

This is down to Carrick taking charge until an interim manager is appointed for the rest of the season. Then from there a permanent manager will be appointed. It is a little confusing.

Tim Sherwood said:

There the biggest club in the world and should go out and get a manager instead of messing around with caretaker and interim managers.

Chelsea as a club are ruthless, if Tuchel wasn’t doing well he would be gone, that’s the difference between the two clubs.

Many managers have been mentioned to take the job at Old Trafford with Pochettino and Zidane being the front runners.

You should remember Poch was free for a year so if united really wanted him they would of got Poch then.

Poch will have the same issue with Ronaldo up front as he has currently with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe.

One pundit stated he thinks Ronaldo is the problem at Man United.

Kelly describe the situation as complicated.

If your Manchester United you can just say I want that manager and go and get him.

Although this was meant to be a match preview it was more the pundits talking about the United manager situation.
